Honduras is a country of the American continent belonging to the Central American region, a region with cultural diversity, pre-Columbian history, traditions among many other characteristics.

Our trip is concentrated in the city of Copán Ruinas, this picturesque and very visited destination is located in the western region of Honduras, a city of 9,000 inhabitants approx. and at an elevation of around 600 meters above sea level with a warm climate throughout the year.

Sito Maya de Copán, Discovered in 1570 by Diego Garcia de Palacios, Copan is one of the most important sites of the Maya civilization. The vestiges of the city and its important contribution to sculpture as well as its imposing plazas reveal the three main periods of its development.

It has the Hieroglyphic Stairway, a monumental staircase of carved stone recognized as world heritage of humanity since 1980, in the steps of 10 meters wide, there are more than 1,250 individual glyphs, which constitute the longest Mayan inscription known.
